I wish one of these would come closer to the cities... Sounds awesome though. Always happy to see a new range pop up. Hopefully I can sneak away and visit it when it's all up and running.

Why not go to the NRA Whittington Center and shoot in the KO2M (King of the 2 Mile) match June 27-29? Then, you can "stretch out" that 300 WM until it loses it's legs

That's for Big Bore Boys! I'm not that n never will be. I shoot way to many rounds for that! 1 mile is stretch for 300WM. Maybe build 338 lapua someday. But that's as far as I go. I would rather out shoot everyone at 1000 to 1500 yards. then a few at mile plus. LOL.

My memory may not be correct, but I believe the winner last year was shooting a .375 Lethal Magnum. I did not get there early enough to watch their match (we were preparing for our 50 Cal World Championship Match). I don't follow it because it requires shooting from prone, and I'm unable to shoot from that position. It also cuts me out of the PRS type matches, so I stick with Benchrest, and our matches limit out at 1000 yds.
