I’m likely leaving the DCGC this year. May be some openings there.

Are the shooter bays on the lanes at the new place lined with the same rough saw wood? I went to the original site once, saw that and my first thought was the powder residue was going to make a mess of those walls in short time. Looks nice at first but a few years down the line going to be a filthy wall. The staff also was about as bright as a 2 watt bulb, the range steward didn't know the difference between 38 spl and 38 super.

Your average shooter/range worker/gun store employee does not.

Too expensive for The Rodentman. I think if you discontinue the $35 a month you'd need to pay the $199 again. BPR isn't new or fancy but it's more reasonable and I am comfortable there.

I haven't been in but I've seen people there, I assumed it was all open.

I think it’s next door and the chocolate store/factory is still up and running.

It is open and is a very nice range. When it first opened I was not planning to switch from BVP but their lighting and air filtration is considerably better. I no longer have to wash out my nose from all the soot... Plus most times I get in for free (guest to a member) so I did not get my usual punchcard from BVP when the last one ran out.

I believe there is a new range, and gun shop in the building that originally housed the Abdullah(sp?) chocolate factory on Cty Rd 42 in Burnsville, a short distance east of Burnsville Pistol Range.

Modern Sportsman has 16-lane range
Candy and guns are the retail draws at a building on County Road 42 West in Burnsville.

The Modern Sportsman, a gun dealership with a 16-lane shooting range, opened May 1 at 3541 County Road 42 W. in the Abdallah Candies building. The range is scheduled to open June 1.

The century-old candy company moved its manufacturing out of the building in late 2016 and opened a new plant and second retail location in Apple Valley.

The Modern Sportsman is leasing the vacated third of the building. Abdallah kept a retail store and some office and warehouse space there.

Abdullah is still there. This is next to it, same building.
