That I do not get. It is already closed to the public. Who cares if some members are busy social distancing?

Plus it is all outdoors which was specifically allowed.

I’d like to know how they fine someone? I guess if you hang out at one of the closed places? Seems you just tell the police that you are making a liquor run.

Yeah...not terribly impressive.
They've already shutdown the buildings, and all indoor training, including MN/DNR FAS Classes.
First, and only outdoor range closure(on private property) I am aware of.

With as loose as the order is I would think you would have to be pretty obnoxious to get fined. Getting fresh air is allowed. Going out to get takeout is allowed. Stocking up on tp is allowed as long as you do not price gouge.

Can't golf or play tennis.
I never could anyway.

I thought I heard one golf course that was going to open.

Found it Stonebrooke is staying open.

Maybe the governor walked it back; that was definitely part of his first edict; one of the many parts that made no sense...specifically closed golf courses and tennis courts. I have heard of play structures in parks being taped off. I have seen one county park entrance saying the play structures were closed. Also the indoor bathrooms were locked so we get to use the port-poties...

Ranges are not exempted from the Governor's order - just gun shops - that's why they have to close.

Yes but they were not called out to close either. And outdoor activities were specifically allowed. In addition they already were closed. All they "had" to do was nothing.

I did not see gun shops listed on the allowed list in the bill.

Just received the following about Gopher Rifle and Revolver Club (Harris, MN). Looks like members can continue to shoot, just no meetings or matches permitted.
This email came from the President

It may seem obvious, but let's make it official...
The Governor has ordered continued social distancing and all non-essential travel halted. All GRRC sponsored events are canceled until this direction is lifted by the Governor.

The range is open and the roads are passable. Keep these things in mind:

Wipe down surfaces you touch both on a range, in the red shed and, bathrooms.
Keep your distance from fellow club members when you see them.
Bring water and soaps to wash your hands

Be safe and healthy. President Steve Naumann

Since OGC closed voluntarily, do they plan to issue a partial refund of membership dues?

Erik, If the closure reduces the amount of time we are open to the public, it conceivably could increase our dues. ;)
