Just changed to open. However a violation of "social distancing" or "virus control" will be considered the same as a gun safety violation. Should be fun out there.

Sounds like you better ask the guy at the next bench if he approves.

Here's a copy of their newest email, sent out @ 1:50 PM today

NOTICE TO ALL OGC MEMBERS 4-18-2020
Minnesota Governor issued EO 20-33 on April 17, 2020 allowing the opening of gun ranges with specific qualifications. The following rules apply to all who use the OGC facilities:
The range is open for members only.
Members use the ranges at their own risk.
Members must wear their member badge so it is easily seen by others.
Guests are allowed and those guests must be a resident of the same house as the member.
The 50-yard range is closed until the “animal tenant” problem is resolved.
The Classroom and Marah Range Building are not to be used for any gatherings of people.
The member must have his/her own supply of hand sanitizing wipes/lotion/spray and use it.
Acceptable “social distancing” requirements must be observed and practiced by all members.
Gloves and face mask use is optional.
OGC will continue to follow the State’s guidelines and members must follow those guidelines while on OGC property. Those guidelines may at some point impact and supersede the social distancing and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) requirements listed here
Observed virus safety violations will be handled the same as a firearm safety violation. If a member requests another member to get in line with virus protection safety requirements and that member refuses to comply, the requesting member will report that violation and member information to the club’s BOD for follow-up action.
The above requirements will remain in effect until further notice.

Oakdale Gun Club Board of Directors

They couldn't be bothered to send this out yesterday, so that Members could enjoy today's nice weather. SMDH

We should add a mandate that ANYONE wishing to hold office, MUST BE PROFICIENT Enough to USE A DAMN COMPUTER!

Whoever typed up those new rules sure seems mad that everyone isn't paranoid and barricaded in their homes until the government says its OK.

Guessing most of the board are of an age where exposure would likely be fatal. Or am I wrong?

Yes. Pretty certain Biden has an honorary membership.

The "Board" needs to realize they aren't the sole members of the club. If they are individually worried about their health, Don't Go to the club. Why should all of the other members suffer, because the board members are scared to go?

Tends to indicate we should elect younger board members!

From an outside observer, for as long as I've participated on this form, threads regarding OGC seem to have these recurring themes.

The BoD doesn't run the club properly.
The BoD is difficult to contact and they don't answer questions.
It's next to impossible to sign up for range/work duty.
My question to those reading this, how many of you are willing to run for a board position to change the status quo?
