Heads up - the woodticks are already out on the 22 range at Elk River. Got a couple just changing targets, not to mention lying prone in the grass.

we had a couple on us yesterday at the Gopher Campfire in Hutch also. nothing like seeing one, then being paranoid that you feel one the rest of the night :)

AFTERMATH wrote:Just a not on the mail-in registration: Although it is perfectly fine; it takes time. It's got to go to Ramsuer, NC-and be entered in manually. I'd allow a couple weeks to avoid any issues. I wish we could have phone registrations at least... But alas; we are all volunteers. Most with regular jobs that would not facillitate a national phone reception. Perhaps someday!
By the way; you can sign-up as a walk-on. It does however cost another $5/day.
Which shoot were they planning to attend?

Thanks,

Alex

I presume at Oakdale on 5/8-9, but I don't know for sure...

Still a couple spots left at Elk River, Rochester and Duluth for this weekend.

Oakdale is about ½ full for May 8-9

September 4-5 in Winona is "Sold Out", but there's still Marshall, Hinckley, and Duluth yet this year.

We've got one left this year!

Hinckley, Dec. 11-12

Looks like it'll be an IcicleSeed for sure!
How well does your gear and equipment hold up in the frigid cold?
How well do you hold up?
Certainly, you can tough it out like the Continental Army at Valley Forge, right?
Nothing breaks the chill like the piercing sounds of Liberty; breaking the silence on a cold December morning.
Plus, you may have the opportunity to earn the special ice blue, Winterseed Patch. Only when the elements truly put you to the test!

See you there,
