Awesome. I will let him know. Also, there wasn't an option to pay with credit card.

So is the class full? No one I know has gotten a call back after signing up.

I passed this on to a few friends from our "autism circle" great idea and cause, my wife and I are intimately involved with autism.

My oldest son has autism, the school "experts" (16yrs ago) at preschool screening stated that we should be prepared for him to not read, write, or keep up in anyway with kids his age. Well we skipped their laundry list of drugs and put good old fashioned time and love and our own money into an aide and now he is in his second year of college, maintaining the deans list and graduated high school with honors (missed high honors by .04 % the bum lol).

We have seen awareness and treatment advance tremendously over the last 16 yrs but there is still a long way to go.

Did you increase the class size? I find that hard to believe with the response you've gotten so far.

No. We set the class size at 30 due to space restrictions at Bills. This has not changed

As a parent of a child with autism I'd like to just say thanks for setting this up helping to get the word out! Autism Speaks is a great organization and definitely deserves support.

That's cool, I'll continue to refer people to sign-up then! Some of the folks were wondering why nobody contacted them in 24hrs for payment/donation or they hadn't received a confirmation email...

Ps: This should probably be moved to the "Training" area since it's not an "Off Topic" discussion.

If you look in the 'Training' section, there is a duplicate thread linked to this. I put it in 'Off Topic' because the main purpose of this is the charity,

Also, following up to a question that someone asked via PM... Taking this class will make you eligible to apply for a Florida permit as well.

Thanks for the interest!
