Youth Firearms Training

I'm looking to bring my 15 year old brother to a youth firearms safety training, however looking at the DNR schedules it looks like most courses run in the evenings when I normally work. Can anyone advise a location for morning youth firearms safety courses, or anyone who is certified that could make a beginner's course for myself, my brother and possibly my step-dad who would like to attend as well. They are located in Roseville so somewhere near to the Twin Cities is preferable.

Your best bet is to watch the DNR site for a regularly scheduled class or look at the online options

several points
* DNR classes must be held in a venue available to the public.i.e. private classes are not allowed.
* Instructors are volunteers and cannot be paid......can't tell you how many times money has been offered for private classes....both not allowed
* Hunter safety can be taken online but anyone under 18 must take the actual range and field day (adults have the option of online field day)
* Field days for online students are different than field days associated with classroom training and are hard to find

ETA: Instructors are allowed to charge a nominal fee up to 7.50 per student to cover the cost of materials purchased and or range fees for the class. We use it to buy survival kit supplies so every student can build a kit in class.
