This class is designed to teach and develop practical skills for handgun self-defense. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome.

Topics include:
Conflict de-escalation
Handgun Design, Ballistics, and Features
Fundamentals of Handgun Marksmanship
Reloading and Stoppages
Drawing and Re-holstering
Post-shooting Procedures

For this class, you need eye and ear protection, 300 rounds of ammo, a handgun, holster, and two spare magazines.

Erik, I'm thinking about taking either this or your rifle class, hopefully both eventually, which what you recommend taking first.

If you carry a pistol for self-protection I'd suggest pistol over rifle. You carry the pistol every day, whereas the rifle probably sees less use.

If you have both a pistol and a rifle, I'd say take them both.
