Joel,
As a small business owner, I can appreciate you wanting to get the word out about your classes. But I have also noted that the only contribution to this forum is to announce your classes to the membership here. I would be more willing to attend a class if I knew I was going to a person that supported the forum they were listing on as an active, productive member. Just my not so humble opinion.

It's interesting that one of the direct results of one of his tantrums resulted in the development of this forum as a vehicle for people interested in self defense and firearms in general to carry on open conversation. Also interesting that he condescendingly refers to this forum as "the daycare" when posting on his own forum. Very classy behavior.

I am here because I was arbitrarily removed from the other forum. I am much happier now, I am impressed with many of the contributers here. There is no condescending owner on this forum. This site has a much friendlier vibe. I am not alone, there seems to be a lot of "defectors". Sign me happy to be one of the "children". :geek:

Joelr is not restricted from coming to this forum and or posting his class schedule.

Vlad as far as contributing to other area's of the forum, it has not gone well in the recent past and I don't expect that it would be different now. The three post above have done more to bring attention to Joelr's class then his original post. Check the post count.

This is history move on.

Thank you.

Well, I guess that depends on what the definition of "recent" is; I may have missed something, but I don't think I've posted anything other than class listings since July of last year. Time does fly . . .

True. That's okay with me, of course.

If one wanted to contribute, they would have started their own thread on the Paymar amendment or posted to the other threads on the issue. Now I can see it is just about narcissism. It is all about TCCarry making money, and feeding an ego. I am curious as to why the OP has redacted 32 out of his last 46 posts. I can understand when someone might delete a post once in a while, but 69%? I got tired of counting. Maybe if people who aren't familiar with the owner of the other forum would read some of his posts that are not redacted, they would not want to be in his "class". There are plenty of instructors at MNGunTalk that contribute without trying to stir the pot. My apologies westburg, I thought your warning was very professional and tactful, I did not want to bump this thread, but I believe the OP will bump it anyways. :geek:

Well, I haven't really had the time to get most of the others, actually. And some of the topics are locked, so I can't.

Hardly. Which is, of course, why I never suggested that it was. Happy to clear that up for you, though. Although I'm surprised you suggested it; I'm sure you made some serious contributions to the effort.
