Has Anyone Heard of Instructor Aron Lambrecht?

Postby cmj685 on Sun Nov 16, 2008 3:19 pm

My wife won a free permit to carry class in Monticello from "Gotcha Tactics"--instructors Aron Lambrecht and Alyssa Lundberg. Has anyone heard of the company or either of the instructors? Know anything? Thanks!

Gotcha Tactics has got to be the worst...name...ever! I'd be thoroughly surprised if the class was any better than their website.

You hit the nail on the head with my concerns Mac. Exactly why I was hoping someone might know more. It seems odd that in a serious business such as training people to use and carry firearms, one would name their company Gotcha Tactics! Maybe that is why they are giving away the permit to carry classes free?

This isn't a dis on them, but it looks like you'll get as much info on buying Cialis as you will on guns or shooting on their forum. Spammers suck.

Let me add a contratian thought. I do not know either of the named instructors, nor have I heard of the firm. Then again, if I look at the BCA website, I could say the same thing about many many of the names/firms listed.

Fact is, they have been approved by the State. That is all that any of is (so far) seem to know. I am not at all comfortable speculating on the quality of their instruction. I do not think it is good form to do so without knowing them. (Well, that sounded a tad condescending...not my intent...just my thought....)

Let's invite them here and meet them....that seems to make sense to me.

Oh, and as to their website/firm name...I would not have chosen that name, but perhaps all the good names...oh say like "shootingsafely.com" were already taken :)

First off I would like to thank rucker for getting me pointed to the right place to view the slander upon me. I do however love all the negative talk, and yet all the people who talk about our "lame" website, didnt have enough intelligence or go-nads to simply email me, directly from our "lame" webiste.

I founded Gotcha Tactics in 2006 while on active duty, I did this to assist members of our armed forces the ability to take actual low-cost courses, and use the knowledge they already had to obtain their permit to carry. I found that many members also wanted this training for loved ones, spouses, friends, & family; so we ventured into the civilian world. After leaving active duty I wanted to keep teaching as to me this was a part time gig. To me living and growing up in monticello, that is where I returned. I attempted to get "Gotcha Tactics" out there but recieved dramatic negative unfluence from local ranges and other carry instructors. As many others know starting a small or start up business is not the easiest thing in the world, expecially when it invloves taking away income from others. I joined up with inrange llc shortly after most other instructos abandonded them. As stated earlier for me this is a part time gig. Fulltime- I am a Firearm/Non-lethal weapons, taser, Use of Force, CPR/FA/AED Instructor for a company in the cities. I have opened myself up to any and all questions or concerns, I would like to thank PHORVICK, for pointing out the the facts to those who I first was talking about.

As far as the free carry course certificates. Those were awarded for members of the Inrange Shooting league who won them based on their scores. The certificate covers all cost associated with range/instructor time at Inrange in Monticello, this certificate was given as a prize from Inrange.

If anyone is willing to foot the bill to pay for a better site, its all yours, but it serves for all i need...

Nice attitude, Lambrecht. I'm sure you'll pull a TON of business from this group.

I wasn't slandering you. It was merely opinion and speculation; learn the difference. You're the one who called your site lame, not me.

Thanks for your service and welcome to the board.

Well, welcome kind of I guess since your already here. Dont worry in a few months we will probably say some not so favorable things about someone else, and you can join in at anytime. Then if we get caught again you can tell the new comer about this story and we will all laugh and have a merry life. Your web site is better than Ttooties, so I wouldn't worry about it. And if you would ask Rucker about running a forum he might tell you to be careful what you wish for, or just flat out tell you dont do it. :welcome: :bravo: :hartman: :gun: :writersblock: :type: :busy: :didntdoit: :hide: :goofydance:
