Guys, I'm teaching this class (with ChuckW) for Minnetonka Community Ed. Filling it would make a very positive statement toward expanding firearm safety and sport training in that district. If you know of anyone at all (spouses, friends, relatives) who would benefit from this class, please pass the word.

NRA Home Firearm Safety - Minnetonka - Saturday 10/13

If you have firearms in the home, this course is a must. The goal of this class is to teach the basic knowledge, skills and the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms in the home. In this four hour course students will receive lessons on the rules of safe gun handling, identifying and unloading various firearms, ammunition, cleaning, and storage. Students will get hands-on experience with safvely handling and unloading the most common types of handguns, rifles and shotguns. (This is a non-shooting course and is not designed to teach the student marksmanship.) There are no prerequisites for taking this course and the material can be understood by mature people of all ages. Students will receive a course completion certificate. Please DO NOT bring a firearm to class.
