QSI Training Blog

Postby Erik_Pakieser on Fri Oct 14, 2011 11:32 am

I've taken up blogging on self-defense and training subjects, thought I would share what I've got so far. I'm going to try and do updates at least twice a week.

What does QSI stand for? I tried searching and nothing logical came up and then I tried urban dictionary but that doesn't seem right.

There is a difference between wearing something because it's functional and just wearing it to look cool. Form follows function, and everything has a purpose.

On that particular weekend, the temperature was exceeding 108 degrees with the heat index.

When you are training in extremely hot weather, a great way to keep cool is by taking a scarf, rolling ice up inside it, and wearing around your neck.

If you wear glasses like I do, you get fogging from evaporating sweat, so having something handy to wipe off your face is a good idea.

I won't defend John Gudick's organization, that's for him to do. I attended one of classes on the Beslan seige last year at the Minnesota Symposium on Terrorism and Emergency Preparedness. I thought it was very worthwhile.

QSI is the name of the company: Quorum Security Incorporated.

So what did you think of the actual blog posts?
