This schedule will likely be obsolescent by the time I finish posting as we're always adding more events. For the most current schedule see the nation-wide schedule.

I should be able to answer most questions regarding MN shoots, see the event information pages for details and local contacts.

p.s. The formatting looks alright on my screen, if it causes problems for anyone else; let me know I'll simplify it.

Appleseed is a tremendous program run by some great volunteers, incredibly effective training for a pittance ($70 for 2 full days, deeply discounted for women, $10, and children, $5 - free for LEO/Military) that will make you a more effective rifle marksman with a greater appreciation for the heritage that goes with it.

Make it a date-weekend with your wife/girlfriend, working on just such a setup myself in fact (just as long as they aren't both there at the same time...). <rimshot>

I'm the Shoot Boss for Hinckley, this weekend... 'Cause I'm sure you wanted to know that.
Anyway, this will likely be the last fair weather seed of the year. I hope to see a few you you there.

Modified to add: That event fees will be increasing - Effective Jan 1, 2013...
The largest increases will be for women and kids.
(for a while they've been practically free)
So, if you've been waiting for the best time; that time might be now.

I want to get my wife and kids out there for one of these. I might even join them.

May have to catch one of these in MN. You'd think Iowa guys would realize not to hold events during the harvest season...

Go to one at hinckley. Its 5 miles from my place. Bring a tent and camp in my field. might have a spare room open. Depends on the date. Or the casino has nice hotel rooms too.

Don't know if I'd recommend the casino - Some who stay there don't make it back the next day. :?

Doesn't Iowa only have two seasons - Planting and harvesting? :)

Keep your eyes peeled on the website; I hear murmurs of an IA shoot this winter.

Anokamnman,

If I can ever free my schedule up, we should hit the range and I can give you a prep course.

Speaking of scheduling, I've gotta get to work on next years! - Assuming the Mayans were wrong.

Sounds good! I'll let you know up front, the pay isn't great but the benefits are amazing. ;)
