As to the shooter ... again, jest a guess ... I'd guess ya might want at least a few matches under yer belt, first ... at the very least, otherwise, I'd guess a lotta of what'd be covered, would be lost on ya?!

Fyi, typically in the past ben has suggested you are a B or high C or better, since that is what he typically teaches to, but westberg would know more.

Yes very good website to check out if you have gear questions ^^^. It's recommended to have a USPSA Classification, Ben is very good at helping individual students during the class.

Not sure if Kita will be around or not.

I took one of Ben's single-day courses last April and I will say it is worth every penny. The phrase "intensive work" is spot-on. I fired almost 1000 rounds that day and everything ached by the end of it. But I loved every minute and learned a lot about the faults in my technique and what I needed to work on. I learned the most from how we approached the various stages he set up. He'd ask why we chose a certain order and then challenge us to look for improvements. I can't imagine how much more valuable shooting actual stages over and over again will be.

For what it's worth, I was a D-class shooter and while Ben made fun of me for not being able to call my shots, he still worked with me on an individual basis (as he did everyone else in the class) and got me to the point where I was making decisions and producing par times of an A or better.

The highlight of my day was the entire wide bay at Holmen being set up with a bajillion pieces of steel. We got to shoot this for over an hour, with Ben giving us plenty of time to work on the texas star and plate racks until we felt comfortable.

Since I pretty much forgot everything I learned last year, I'll be signing up for this. Hope to see some of you there

Okay kinda kickin this around. What if you've never shot a sanctioned USPSA match ever, yet are a consistent top 10 or better finisher at the MN 3-gun matches?
