New 2013 fee schedule

General information at: http://www.appleseedusa.org
This schedule will likely be obsolescent by the time I finish posting as we're always adding more events. For the most current schedule see the nation-wide schedule.

I should be able to answer most questions regarding MN shoots, see the event information pages for details and local contacts.

p.s. The formatting looks alright on my screen, if it causes problems for anyone else; let me know I'll simplify it.

Thinking of the June 29/30, where could I get a couple recommended slings for 10/22s?

Appleseed sells them via their webstore:

http://www.appleseedstore.flyingcart.co ... =dept&id=5

Midway also has them for a few more bucks:

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/966254 ... olive-drab

When searching other sources they are sometimes called M1, m14, GI, USGI, or loop slings.

Looks like there's only one spot left now!
>I trust it'll sell out at least a couple of times before the event - so, if you miss your chance you can check back to see if there've been any cancellations.

Still plenty of room at Hinckley!

This is awesome. I highly recommend Appleseed!

Warms my heart to see this offered so many times and in so many places...
See us for gun training and resources at http://gunclasses.net and http://mnconcealedcarry.com

We also recommend Krav Maga, by IKMF-certified instructors: http://www.kravmagampls.com

Alexandria in April is a no go. So, set your sights on June!

Hinckley, next weekend has too many slots open! Come on folks, sign up if only to be part of what is quite possibly the largest rifle salute ever!

Rochester was awesome! If you can go to one, do it... you will not regret it.

I shot Rifleman twice, once standard AQT and once Rapid Fire AQT. 8-)

Note: Found a typo in the Wells dates - The actual dates are May 18-19, 2013. Sorry if this caused any inconvenience.

Just out of curiosity, what does it take exactly to qualify as a rifleman?

Rifleman skills - 8-)

Hmmm... Let's see if I can find a target to upload...

[{Mumbles to self}Now where did I put those files? I know they're around here somewhere.... I just saw them the other day... O'ha!]

[Oh, crud, those aren't the ones I'm looking for... Hmmm... Let's try this.... Ok, there they are... Alright now if I can figure out how to upload these...]

Ok, if this works you'll see that I've attached 3 pages, with a total of 4 stages - not the exact same target you'll see at an Appleseed, but formatted for your printer.

Scaled for 25 meters - You'll notice a square on each page, make sure your printer scaling is calibrated so that square measures 1 inch.
Then use the square for a sighter. ;)

Here's how you shoot 'em.

Stage 1]10 rounds- Standing-1 magazine-2 minutes
AQT - Page 1.PDF
(371.76 KB) Downloaded 173 times

Stage 2]10 rounds-Transition from Standing to Seated - 2 mags(2&8) - 55 seconds
AQT - Page 2.PDF
(283.2 KB) Downloaded 142 times

Stage 3]10 rounds-Transition from Standing to Prone - 2 mags(2&8) - 65 seconds
Stage 4]10 rounds- Prone -1 magazine-5 minutes!
