And I want to thank everyone for a great day at the range! You've got a great format for a steel match there, about the only thing I'd change would be to eliminate the running start in the man vs man.....but that might be just the torn cartilage in my knee talking too.....maybe I'll wear a brace if I can get back up for the November match.

Yeah, it's always fun to win, but my son and I both just had a great day meeting some great folks! Thanks for having us!

I hadn't shot for several months prior to my first steel shoot and it was my best time. Apparently the practice I've being doing lately isn't paying off at all. It's like how someone1980 swears his XD performs flawlessly when he doesn't clean it, but always malfunctions after a good clean and lube. I feel like I'm shooting better, though, and it's fun either way.

Crud. I should have blown off homework.

Actually as it turned out my fuel filter stranded me 30 miles outside the citys in the middle of a corn field called Cannon Falls. Nice place, nice people, but I would have rather been doing something else.

The November match is near the end of the semester, but I will try to make it.

Butch, that's the best plan....... to be done by 0800 opening day. However, where I hunt, it has rarely ever worked out that way.
