I used my Pact Clubtimer III all day, it worked like a charm. It even has a delay mode for when I practice, and new they are around $125.

I'll volunteer to play RO again anytime I'm in attendance (which hopefully will be most). Agreed that having at least 4 ROs (all with timers) would speed things up...once we had two ROs running in our bay, it was shooter-shooter-reset, shooter-shooter-reset...very smooth.

another fun day! Thanks B&C and all! glad to see my times didn't stink as bad as I thought they did while it was happening. lots of great shooters showed up - made for a lot of good matches in the man v man.

you're welcome for the loan Paul - I was glad you were able to shoot well with the TupperGlockware so that we could give you grief for it (a lesser man than you might have pooched the performance just for the chance to blame it on the Glock! :o :P :P ) I was glad that I still had enough power with the .40 to knock down the poppers so that I didn't have to swipe the .45 back from you! (well, when I actually HIT them anyway  my aiming skills were a bit lacking. I think I'll blame it on being distracted by the DIY sideguards I put on my glasses... :? )

Here's the website for the Ammo Wizard since several folks seemed interested: http://www.thenutwizard.com/catalog.html if a few of us had them, we could maybe police the brass more as we go to keep them from getting stomped into the dirt.

Not nearly loud enough for competition, and the calibration isn't that good. I have the app and it's fine for quick practice, but out on the range as a RSO, dedicated timers are the only way to run.

I used Bruce's PPII at the event. It worked great! Brownells has them for $112 (tan) and $119 (blue).

The manufacturer has them at $129, but buy 4 and get one free, for a price of $103 each.

Group buy?

The steel shoot was awesome until my gun broke and disassembled itself mid string, but then quickly because awesome again when Ryan lent me his. (Thanks man!) :D

The man v man was a blast too! Thx to china for subbing in for me on the last round, I got called back by my wife to help with our 1 week old daughter (it's actually amazing I got to go to the shoot in the first place).

Thanks to benny and china for putting it together, and hopefully I'll see some of you great people at the upcoming shoots soon!

There's a timer for sale in our very own classifieds: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=13907

As you can clearly see from this month's chart, we were all pretty evenly matched: Image
