Ya know Vvrroomm, if you manage to "misplace" that "bike" of yours you can use the nut wizard to find. Much easier than getting down on your hands and knees digging in the dirt for it and having it stuck in a 45acp case. :P

I THINK I'll be going and the weather sounds good for riding there. Assuming I get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight and can get moving in the AM.

IIRC, there's a McDonald's on the East side of 252 not far south of 610. Guess I'll try and make it there early enough to have a couple of breakfast sandwiches before 7:00 rolls around...

Nope. Sorry about that. Got off to what would've been a decent start, timewise. Pretty foggy out there and once I got onto Hwy 10 in Coon Rapids, it got much worse. Said to myself, "Y'know, a reasonable person would figure that this was more risk than would be worth it." took the next exit ramp and headed home.

Hope I didn't mess up anyone's getting there on time (PastorPaul) too badly waiting for me when I didn't show at the rendezvous.

no problem. i got to the shoot just fine. it was heavy air all the wy there but not bad enough to be under 65 mph. my only question: what's with a roundabout (actually 2 of them!) on a state highway?

Don't put many miles on each season? I've got 18K so far this year. A fair percentage in rain & fog.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Reasonable? Around here? :rotf: Sad to say, MrVvrroomm represents normal in MNGunTalk. :P

I saw what you did there. I'd give an appropriate response if it weren't beneath my dignity. ;)

Honestly, I just had this moment when it didn't feel right to be riding in that stuff. I've heard a lot of advice over the years about "following your gut" when things feel wrong, so I did. IF it'd been on a trip, I'd've just stopped and killed time over breakfast or something until things felt more "right". For something like this where it wasn't all that important to be there and a time deadline...
