Hi Gang, I finally got logged on, it looks like my saved link was to the old domain name.
Thanks for the kudos, but we enjoy organizing the shoots as much as you enjoy shooting at them.
It was good to see all of you yesteday and like Pinnacle said it's good to see everyone improve their shooting.

There's going to be another one in about a month...you should be there! The score is time in seconds. Four courses of fire of four strings each. The worst string in each course of fire is thrown out. In the man v. man, each person shoots four times total against another participant on two identical courses of fire. First one to finish wins. It's a bracket type deal. Hope that makes sense.

Match = staying calm, draw, fire 5 rounds+.
Man V Man = Adrenalin rush that you have to control so you have to hit your targets

It is a blast.

Just remember - "You can't miss fast enough to win a gunfight..."

Drawing from a holster *cough* as most of you do carry *cough* is really different then standing at the point of a range, loading, shooting and setting it back down. Come out and give it a try. If you can't make one of these times, give one of the local IDPA clubs a try.

I was having a problem logging in this weekend like a lot of the other members, but I have not had any problem today and a little time to post.

My weekend could not have any better except in regards to my shooting skills (but thats another story) Fri. evening out to dinner with wife.

Saturday starts with packing gun, shooting supplies and ammo on motorcycle and 100+ mile ride to the steel shoot. Shoot most of the day and another great ride home and dinner with the wife again with conversation about my day. Selurcspi and China great job, I hope my schedule allows me attend more of these shoots. The other guy's I met what can I say that already hasn't been said, your all are a great group shooters, if anybody is thinking of attending and hasn't met these people don't let their on-line personalities scare you they really are normal in person. Congrats to Someone 1980 for best overall time and to Pinnacle on the man-v-man. Talk about gun fighting the only thing missing is the bullets coming at you.

Sunday IDPA Classifier, man did I blow that. The day was again saved by a another bike ride along the St. Croix with two beautiful woman and of course one of them was my wife.

For me it was about 250 rounds

next time i plan on driving the Explorer which seats 7 if there is enough of us. Save the enviroment by car pooling right

Westberg thinks he blew the classifier! I shot in the same group as he and his better half did and it was a total disaster for me! The only good thing that came out of it was that as always, we had fun and that there will be another classifier on the horizon for us in the future
