So I am planning on going to this show on Saturday. I have a few questions before I drive up there.
#1- Where should I park I am some what familiar with the fair grounds. What street should I come in on?
#2- Are things at these shows priced well or is this more for looking and taking notes?
#3- Do vendors take credit cards or is cash the best way to go?
#4- Srigs are you going to have holsters for Glock 17s?
#5- Do they charge to get in? If so how much?
#6- How big will this thing be? Are we talking an hour to see everything or are we talking 5 hours?
Any other tips you folks have for a first timer please let me have them.

I haven't been to one of these shows and am new to all of this in general... so I don't have personal experience, but here is a website link with some of the answers.

Come in the main gates on Snelling and take the first right it is 1/2 down the block on the right. You will then need to drive around to find a place to park.
Fee to get it is about $5 or $7.
Some deals, some stuff priced higher. Depends, like garage sales you gotta be willing to look and dicker..
Cash is always better than plastic since some of the folks with tables, like me, are getting rid of their personal stuff and have no way of taking plastic, dealers pay 3-5% to use plastic so you loose your dealing edge.
Can't speak for Srigs
Not sure how far you are coming. I try to make this one every year, it is a fun show and can been done in an hour but if you want to do it right it'll take 2 or 3...
Oh and if you have something you would like to try and trade or sell bring it along, they check and strap it at the door and then you can walk around with it (make sure it is cased till they check it, this don't cost you a dime and makes the shows a lot more interesting..... ;)

The spring show at the Education bldg was a good show for us.
Cost is $5 - parking is free.
Plan to spend a couple hrs if you really want to get a good look.

Hey Don T, I thought I was the old balding guy.
Oh and save a few $$ to spend at my tables. I'll have a boatload of Glocks, XD's, S&W's, etc.
I also hand out cards for Srigs w/ big discounts on his holsters. :D

I will be attending this show. It will be the first one I've been to so if any one has any tips let me know. Also, I will be bringing my 2 firearms that I have listed on here to sell and/or trade. Looking for parts to bulid an AR-15. Thanks. The firearms I have are a Mossberg 500 12 gauge with wood stock in excellent condition and a Remington 22 rifle with a nylyon stock also in great condition. Thanks.

I went today, I thought it was neat. There was a lot if cool stuff for sale, I just wish I had the money to buy it all. Funny thing is I wanted to get three things specific. Glock gun mat, holster for my G17 and wood grips for my new frontier. I struck out on all three. I did get some brass and nuts though.
Please post when the next one comes around, it was a fun way to waste a few hours. I just wish I knew who the people on here were so I could do some B.S.ing. I did get to meet Eric.
