I'm fairly sure I'll be there either friday or saturday. Possibly with the wife in tow. Depends on if I find any motivation on friday.

Wow! Things have really sped up since I was in the Army... :o (well, maybe not - that's probably how it was back then too, but I just had to say this...)

Can't you get over there Friday morning? Or does your drill include Friday as well?

I hope to get over there sometime Friday.

friday i have to start driving at 0630 to get there by 0730/0740 driving at posted speed limits, then we look over the trucks and line them up and drive another 3 hours or so to camp ripley, then we wait around for 5 hours or so to be told what to do, then start over the next day

Yeah that sounds about right, just finished my drill this past weekend: death by powerpoint, driving for hours and waiting for hours, etc...

I know Coonan Inc will be there, most likely Dan himself. They'll be demo'ing their new "Classic"

More than likely on Friday, wife in tow (unless she has a headache, but if I come alone, hmmmmm.......what gun didn't I need to buy this time). I assume Friday's the best day to try to talk to reps, while everyone's still at work. Be nice to meet some of you finally. Oh and if the sig rep's there, I'm going to ask about sending me a 10 round mag instead of 15's. This isn't Calif or Mass!

I'll be going however I'm going to try and get there during the morning on Friday so I can avoid the Saturday / Sunday madhouse.

Ahrens, let me know, I can stop by on the way home from work around 3ish.

Got money burning a hole in my pocket.

I was planning on heading up Friday morning. I'm being held captive by the USPS waiting for a package that needs a signature. I'll be up right after it gets here. I should be up right after lunch.

I'm currently planning on trying for about 11-11:30, I don't want to interrupt the morning nap, you know. Not having to listen to an over tired baby trumps looking at guns.

Para will be there with a very nice assortment of 1911's. Lots of 45's and a few 9 compacts.

After circling the lot for 10 minutes, going to see my wife at her work, circling the lot again a few times I gave up. Didn't want to walk too far with the kid or bring in a stroller. Maybe I'll have better luck at the fall show or next year.
