Yeah, it was nuts, finally parked at opposite end, after driving through underground and then through the lot 2x. Good vendors, but Sig didn't show up.....hmmmmmm (was going to grill him on the 226 coming to MN with 10 round mags). So now the fun part, wife first is eyeing a Purple framed with satin stainless cylinder little 38sp. Then, upstairs talking to Genevieve, she suddenly became interested in a 500 12 gauge Mossberg. Back downstairs to talk to Mossberg guy, and he shows her the newer version with picatanny style rails attached to the side of the pump. She fell in love with it, so back upstairs to find out that versions not in yet. But we can put money down and keep the sale price on it when it comes in in next few weeks. Here she thought we had enough guns. This will be interesting to say the least, and she even mentioned hunting with it with proper barrel change out (I told her finding a group to do that with will be tough, as I've had no luck).

Good for me on Friday at 10 am. Talked to a few vendors that I have prior experience with, like S&W and DPMS.

The one thing that I was happy to find is the defensive pen buy, 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. I went for the 3 for $25 and now think I should have picked up several more of those composite pens. This is such a good option for those that know how to travel, a flashlight is good also.

I do have have a call out to another that plans to attend on Saturday, hopefully they can pick up a few more for me. 8-)

I'm "shooting" for 10 a.m. Saturday.

See what I did there.

If you're going to the Show:

Be sure to sign up to win a free gun. We have more free guns than ever and less folks signing up - right now about one in sixty is going to win a firearm

If you want less of a crowd, Saturday between 6 and 8 pm or Sunday at 10am (before the church rush) has been slower.

Good to know, thanks Joe. My wife stopped in after work yesterday and noticed that pink Mossberg .22 for the girls and pink Kahr .380 for herself. "You want me to get that .22? You already have a .380"
"No, it just looked nice, that's all."

Hmmmm

A) do I need to be present during the drawing?

B) can I enter more than once ?

From my past experience, you do not need to be present for the drawing and you only enter once.

Last year there was no fall show. :( Hopefully, that will change this year.

Dragged the wife along this afternoon, she was very curious about the Ruger LC9 but didn't want to wait in line to shoot it. Picked up a couple flyers and think I found my next range bag. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and found a parking place in the upper lot as soon as we drove in, all in all not bad.

Went this afternoon...place was hoppin! The highlight for me was meeting Dan Coonan and getting to check out a couple of his guns. Running into tousi was a close second.

You didn't try the Coonan? The wife and I tried it. Even she thought it was nice.

Nah. Would have loved to, but didn't have time to wait in line for the range.

I handled that digital camo one ... I got no use ('er money Image) fer such a pistol, but that sure did seem like a nice pistol.

+1, but if I had it, I think I could find a use for it.

Perhaps a range session may be in order. I may have access to an "old Model B" Coonan. There have been numerous forum members that have put a couple down range with this one:
