13 shooters? WTF?

Dawn and I shot a match down in Oak Ridge, TN with over 170 shooters. $25 and we used their guns, their ammo (over 20K rounds of 9mm), lunch, water, soda. There was over $10K in prizes given away, including 12 pistols.

I placed 50th. I won a nice 5.11 backpack and Blade-Tech t-shirt in a drawing.

Oh, and it was 84 and sunny all day.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

With the small number of people who chose to brave the rain, everybody gets their own color on the chart this time. I made charts for each stage, so everybody can pick the one they did best on to look at, though if you were hoping you might have won one of the stages, Selurcspi & USNRET are hogging 1st & 2nd in all 4. I see I did manage a 5th though, thanks to the 2-second bonus plate in stage 2.

And remember if you didn't do as well as you'd like, it's not the end of the world (as it turns out). ;)

You're slipping, Pat...you didn't include a "Beat by a guy who reloaded with an empty magazine" category.

Have you tried Focus Factor? I hear it's pretty good for memory loss like that.

For 20 clams I'll let you beat me next time.

As long as Dawn (either one) doesn't show up, you're golden.

it must have been charity - before we ran she offered to throw it for $20 - i figured why pay for the humiliation when it can be had for free?

my theory is that the race gun actually HAS a luke skywalker kind of force field that repels steel making the poppers fall faster
