In case anybody is wondering the Redditors' wittle feewings were hurt.

I was planning on showing up and open carrying but alas something of importance came up so I missed all the fireworks. As I'm the guy who runs the Friday beer meetups on the Twin Cities Social Reddit I've been receiving quite a bit of angry hate mail about allowing this place to be selected which has left me with an afternoon's worth of entertainment.

Everybody at the Gopher Bar did some great work, sad I missed it.

My living room is bigger 'n this bar ... I sat right 'bout in the middle, and never seen/heard of any such goin's on ... there was a large group taking up most of what little was left of the bar ... we were asked to help take a picture ... they seemed quite happy ... they all smiled fer the picture.

EDIT: I don't believe they'd take a ****ing check!

EDIT: There was a Aborigine with long hair that fell off his barstool ... I wonder if he was the one causing the trouble?

All I'm sayin' is, I never once heard no commotion ... there was one guy, who seemed to have a bit of trouble with the ATM (I was right next to it puttin' some Iron Maiden 'n Ozzy on the jukebox) ... and when his buddy tried to comfort him, he kinda attacked him ... I didn't really watch ... but I heard the buddy say "we're alright" so someone else may have noticed them, as well ... but at that time, no one got kicked out.

And there was the Aborigine ... and the big group that appeared to be havin' a good time.

There was also 'bout 5 girls and a couple lucky dorks with 'em ... but I think they were jest lost. Anyhow, none of 'em had long hair ... so I doubt that was them. And they kinda left onesie-twosie.

I think next time, we need a dedicated videographer ... 'er two ... then we can examine the footage the next day, 'n try to piece together what actually transpired.

Past that, we had a couple beverages, a couple coneys, and some good gun-talk!

Frankly, I've seen better people-watching at Olive Garden.

Nothin' like that happened. Maybe one of the bar's regulars who was acting rather gregariously had a conversation with your group, whoever they were.
Maybe they went to the wrong spot, although mistaking the effin Gopher for anything else would be a feat.
The only possible bunch that might have been your peeps was really quite impressed with our tacticoolness, they sat at the next table, and one of them even pulled out his PTC card, and even showed off his boob when Rugersol finally figured out how to make the camera go 'click.'
Any how your group appears a bit slow, so maybe you wait a few weeks, tell them the place has a new owner, who bought, and remodeled the place with stimulus funds, and then we do it all again.

While I'd appreciate the vote of confidence, I never could get the camera to go 'click'.

At which, it weren't me who got "flashed" ... that was MnGlocker! ... who, quite adeptly, uploaded said pic to dude's facebook page, all in one deft motion whilst handing the phone back!
