Wife and I are going tomorrow, we have been going on Friday for several years now. In the past we have tried a Saturday and Sunday, but there is too much of a crowd those days. If you are into hunting with dogs, I think it is worth the trip, it is just over a 100 miles one way for us and both my wife and I think it is worth the drive once a year.

I might sneak in tomorrow before going to work. It gets too crazy for me on the weekends unless you are very early or very later. If you are a hunter, especially one with dogs its worth it.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the shuttle bus, just drive up by the gate and pay $5-10 to park in someones yard. I usually park in one of the lots to the left or right of the gate. Saves a ton of walking in crowds.

I go every year. Get there 30 minutes before they open and parking is pretty good.

I take the dogs, run some trials, never buy much but always have fun shopping.

Went this morning. It was fun, and very hard not to buy a dog. Another damned 870 followed me home, though........

Admitted 870 crack-whore  All I can say is it's cheap[er than 1911s 8-)

Missing- Lots of vendors wioth dog and hunting stuff. Fun looking dog copmpetitions- timed water retrieves, retrieving off a dock long jumps, timed land retrieves, and more stuff. It was fun to watch, and made me consider selling my wife and kids and buying a pup or three.

I'll be at game fair tomorrow morning when the gates open if anyone wants to meet up. I'll be the guy standing around with 2 Brittanys.
