I have had this in my calendar for several months now. Regardless, Saturday is my buddy's bachelor party and I work Sunday. So not happy.

No go for the kid from Kato, I have drill this weekend. We "wify and I" had been looking to celebrating St Pats on Saturday too along with a Wild game. Would have been about the greatest weekend ever.

Not sure if we'll be able to make it. Plans are changing. Had a few things come up in the last couple of days.

I'll be there with the QSI crew. We wanted to get a table, but they sold out, so we'll just be there to shop.

I'm trying to convince the girlfriend to turn Saturday date day into gunshow day. Might even find her one of those Cheetah .380's she likes.

See how I made that about her? She likes that. ;)

What a flippin madhouse! That place was PACKED! As frustrating as that was, it turned out to be a great day. The wife bought me a 1967 2A1. Not the prettiest one I've ever seen, but it's all matching numbers and has good rifling. Also got 100 rounds of German surplus 7.62x51. Can't wait to clean her up and shot her (the gun, not the wife).

Snagged a nice 552 Speedmaster, bought a nice Marlin .410 bolt shotgun from DonT (because it was cute and I have no practical use for it- keep an eye out for it in the classifieds in about 2 weeks  ) , and hooked Shippy up with a nice Remington 550-1. All good, including lunch with Mark and Jackson. Great day.

If anybody is in the market for a very nice deer gun, there is a Remington 700 mountain rifle in 7mm-08 with a leupy scope on it for $625. Just sayin'............

Seemed like a smaller crowd than normal, place started to thin out at 12:30, to bad it wasn't cool and rainy.
