I am looking forward to attending the event and meeting some other shooters!

I have two quick questions:

1) Can I bring a friend or two who is responsible and safe with firearms?
2) Is there a place that one could bring a grill and cook some stuff?( of course a distance from the area were the shooting and crowd is going to be.)

All of this would of course be with thoughts of respect and safety to the others attending and the grounds staff, etc. I just have never been to the facility or grounds to understand the layout and such.

Thanks
Evo

Yes & yes.

If you and/or your friend(s) aren't experienced in any of the action pistol games, Benny will put you through a quick holster/safety class to check out your technique and your gear.

I don't think snowgun is doing the calander over here anymore. There was a long rant about the calander one time at the tap.

It's on the REAL CALENDAR over at MNGunsite, since they allowed me to manage a REAL google calendar, so you can sync it with your mobile phone and have it everywhere you go:

Ok. That is just cool. I just added to my Google calendar and now it's on my phone. Maybe I'm easily impressed though.

If at all possible, bringing a minimum of four mags really keeps things moving in the steels.

+1

This tends to be safer as well...less fumbling to reload mags while in the box

On this page - http://gophercampfire.com/rules/rules.htm it says no jacketed rounds, so my FMJ for my .45ACP is a no-go then I take it?
