That's only on the rifle range. You should be just fine.

Registration and setup start at 8:30 and shooting should start at 9:30. Yes you can shoot autos at the revolver shoot with a maximum of 6 reounds in the gun!

To be exact that is only for the really nice 50 yard range. I do believe jacketed rifle bullets are allowed on the 100 yard range.

The Club screwed up, the 25th isn't going to work, we'll go with the 11th.

I have a couple of conflicts, so I have had to change the dates of the June and August Steel Shoots, here are the updated dates.

Here are the dates for the summer of 2012

4\21
5\19
6\9 Changed to 6\23
7\14 Revolvers
8\18 Changed to 8\11
9\15
10\20

I have been wanting to attend one of these and my summer activities just fill up too fast. 6/23 is an open day for me so I am planning to attend. Having never done this before;

- will it be obvious where the steel shoot is occurring, once at the range?
- will there be someone to show the noob(s) proper etiquette for the shoots?

Thanks

Yup! It's been at the first 2 pistol ranges on the left as soon as you pull in.

There are more knowledgable shooters per square foot than you could imagine. Everyone was very polite and more than willing to help out and show me the ropes at my first steel shoot. See ya there!

Last month was my first and everyone was very helpful. Once you hit the gate you will have nothing to worry about. My only advice is to map/GPS your route first; when I plugged the address on Gopher's website into my GPS it took me to the wrong place.

Plug this into Google maps and you drops you right into the parking lot.

44.978518,-94.293377

Google seems to place you in the wrong place when using the actual address.
