Went this morning. Met several friends. Lot to do and see as usual. This event is really getting popular which I think is good for the shooting sports.

Their were lines at at most of the shooting events.

Occasional light rain. Not enough to get the rain jacket out.

Ahlman's Shooter's Round-Up 2012

Postby adoptedson on Sun Aug 26, 2012 8:10 am

Had a great time with the wife on Saturday. We'll definitely go back in the future. If it wasn't over an hour away, we would've been going back today. We didn't get to see/do everything we wanted to. We were able to try out a few guns we've recently been looking at purchasing. I got to run a mag through the ol' Thompson Submachine gun. We ate cheese curds, corn dogs, and mini donuts.lol It beats the pants off the StateFair.

Anyone hit the golf ball with the unsighted AR on stage 15? I guess it's one of those things that if you don't hit it you're like everyone else, but if you do you end up looking like a superhero. A little bit surprised that DPMS sponsored it, I would have thought they would have set up something like the VersaMax challenge where they toss 3 clays up real easy.
