Second Saturday North Breakfast- 12 January

The January 2013 Second Saturday North Breakfast will be
Saturday, 12 January, 9AM at the Maplewood Old Country Buffet, 3000 White Bear Ave, Maplewood, MN

Forum members from across the boards, and guests are welcome to attend.

New forum members especially are welcome to join your online colleagues for an informal buffet breakfast, InSites on shooting, and more good conversation.

This will be an excellent opportunity for like minded folks to gather over breakfast (or coffee) to boast of their exploits in the field, woods, and at the range; reflect on the election, the gun market, discuss current events in the local gun community, or whatever else is on your mind.
If you haven't attended one of the local events, give it a shot (so to speak).

In the tradition of this event, and in respect for The Old Country Buffet, concealed carry preferred.
We meet in the banquet room, in the rear(east end) of the restaurant, at the tables nearest the windows.

Thanks man. I get it. I just can't believe some of the a-hats around here who think I'm beating a dead horse when all I'm doing is reading. I swear reading and comprehension are become not just a lost skill, but it's almost become some mystical art for those of us left who can actually do it. If I could OC, I'd go. Looks like that's not a problem at the EFFEN Gopher Bar, so there we go...everyone can win and have good food and company.

I have open carryed at OCB for years and no one cared, but on the 2nd Sat. I cover up just to keep the peace, one must be flexible.
Over the last year I have had to carry very discretely due to cercumstances, this requires a different gun, different holster, one must be flexible.

Was kinda confused thought OCB was open carry breakfeast.
Still confused by the concealed preferred, Does that mean preferred or required?

19th I'm doing an new customer installation, so I can't... but I am open to an OC breakfast sometime.
