2nd Amendment Tabling/Education at St. Kate's

Hi all,

I am trying to organize an opportunity for the MN gun community to set up a table in the St. Catherine University commons and give students the opportunity to learn more about gun rights, advocacy, and current politics around gun issues. I have not put in a request for a date and space yet but I am looking for individuals that would be willing to spend a couple hours in the afternoon talking to students. This isn't really my area of expertise, but I know you guys really enjoy this stuff and know how I talk to people about it. I would also like to give my student organization, the Katie Conservatives, an opportunity to make connections with the local gun community since this will be my last semester as President. If anyone is interested please shoot me a text or e-mail since I don't get on here often anymore.

I think presenting with a slant towards personal safety and self defense would get some attention. You may want to mention the cases of Dru Sjodin and Katie Pourier who were both kidnapped / raped / executed by predators who had already spent decades in prison for previous sex crimes. The presentation of a firearm could have saved their lives. That takes it out of 'politics' and into survival.

Just to clear up confusion, you don't need to bring a female with you. Lol (but good for you if women are willing to bein close proximity to you, that is advantageous). What I meant was that the girls from the club would be with you at the table. Thanks all for your interest and willingness to help. I am getting the forms in to request a space.
