...I checked every magazine and a couple of them are very close to hitting the ejector and I suspect when I "aggressively" did my reload for the final popper, the magazine hit the ejector, pushing it up into the frame.

You know, this never happens with my revolver.

Yeah, but if I had used a revolver, I'd still be there today reloading. Besides, shooting a 1911, I know enough to bring a backup
