Yes this is put on by the Twin Cities Gun Owners and Carry Forum. They put on great events and very family friendly as it says they have a website and a forum. They also are listing all the carry friendly businesses around the area here is their facebook page for more info. https://www.facebook.com/tcGunsAndCarry

Jack Pettengill of Dynamic Defensive Arts will give an overview of practical self defense moves. Get tips on using leverage, redirection of force and even using pocket items in self defense. Great info for everyone whether you carry or not. You may not always have time or the ability to get to your weapon for self defense. Our 2A friend in the Minnesota legislature, Rep. Brian Johnson, will present an Info Session this Saturday at the north metro "MN Carry Day & Safety Education" event. Rep. Johnson will give us tips on how we can more effectively communicate with our representatives, even those who don't always share our views. Ever feel like your calls and emails go unheeded or end up in the trash bin without being seen?
Find out how to effectively communicate your concerns to your rep, and even the best way to reach your representative to increase the likelihood that your concern will be received and be more likely to receive a response.
This Info Session is tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. at Elk River, but all times are subject to change. Be sure to arrive early or plan to spend the day at the event to take it all in.
We're grateful to Rep. Johnson for making the time to be at the event and for being a consistent supporter of Twin Cities Gun Owners and our events and activities.
