Looks like someone else already posted about the other, and first of TWO, "MN Carry Day & Safety Education Expo" events, so here's a thread for the St. Paul event. (See other thread: Elk River MN Carry Day).

There will be TWO "MN Carry Day & Safety Education Expo" events this year. Details, below. Hundreds attended the inaugural event in Elk River last fall, we anticipate attendance over 2,000 at these two events this year.

Details on website: http://www.minnesota2a.com/news-commentary/mncarrydaysafetyeducationexpos2014-twobigevents

Less than 3 weeks away until the first of TWO "MN Carry Day & Safety Education Expo 2014" events. Join co-sponsors Twin Cities Gun Owners & Carry Forum and Alpha Apparel & Promotions on the cutting edge of 2A activism in Minnesota and visit these two big events.

In the north metro, for the second year we'll be at Zylstra Harley-Davidson, Elk River, Elk River on Saturday, Oct. 11, and at the newly added 2nd location for 2014 on Saturday, Oct. 18 in the east metro at St. Paul Harley-Davidson. Free and open to public 9-3 at both events. Lawful carry welcomed!

Each event will have wide range of unique vendors and FREE info sessions related to personal safety, self defense, firearms safety, responsible gun ownership, everyday activism and more. These events are NOT FOR GUN OWNERS ONLY!

These events will be a great opportunity to explore information from a variety of personal safety experts, and an opportunity for those curious about gun ownership or permit-to-carry to ask questions in a welcoming and educational environment. And there will be plenty of info and topics of interest for seasoned shooters and permit holders.

Open to the public; Free to attend. Free info sessions. Food trucks and great info for the whole family. Taurus Firearms is donating one of their best-selling firearms as a door prize and there will be give-aways at each vendor table at both events, as well.

We're still adding vendors and info sessions, so visit the Event pages frequently for updated details, give-away info and announcements about the day's events and speakers.

We're grateful to have Rep. Tony Cornish at this coming Saturday's "MN Carry Day & Safety Education Expo" event at St. Paul Harley-Davidson! Rep. Cornish will share his thoughts about being responsible gun owners and hunters, and how we can each be effective, individual advocates for gun rights in our daily lives.
Info session scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and seating is limited. Plan to arrive early.

Criminal defense attorney James Fleming will again be with us to present his "Aftermath" overview at the east metro "MN Carry Day & Safety Education Expo" event at St. Paul Harley Davidson. What happens in the aftermath of a self defense use of deadly force? From the immediate aftermath of the crime scene and dealing with police to how to deal with family, media, neighbors, etc, as well as the emotional and financial impacts and repercussions.
Scheduled for 11:30 a.m.*
NOTE: This is a brief overview of the 6 hour class on the topic by James Fleming at Mid-Minnesota Self-Defense, Inc.

Plan to attend the "Practical Defense Tactics" Info Session by Jack Pettengill of Dynamic Defensive Arts.
Get tips on using leverage, redirection of force and even using pocket items in self defense. Great info for everyone whether you carry or not. If you carry, you may not always have time or the ability to get to your weapon for self defense.
This session is scheduled for 2 p.m.* Limited seating available, please arrive early. Dynamic Defensive Arts will also have a vendor table, so be sure to stop by and talk to them in more detail.

Check out less-than-lethal options for personal safety and self defense. Our friends at Stun & Run Self Defense LLC will demonstrate products and give you an overview of laws related to their use. Info session scheduled for 1:45 p.m., seating limited. Stun & Run will also be on site all day as a vendor, so stop by early and have a chat. They will have products for purchase at the event.
Remember to bring CASH for most vendor products.

We've got a great line up of vendors for this Saturday's event.

Something for everyone including for kids as well as non gun owners, and lots of review and info for seasoned gun owners and permit holders.

Come check out the Wisconsin Old West Shootists (part of the Single Action Shooting Society - SASS) who will be dressed in period outfits and will share info about their competitions and preserving the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting.

Stop by and talk to representatives from USA Karate Woodbury and Dynamic Defensive Arts about self defense and personal safety techniques for both adults and kids.

And check out the personal safety products from House of Lumens (tactical flashlights) and Stun & Run Self Defense LLC (stun guns, pepper spray, surveillance and more).

Find out about firearms related info, products and services from Bill's Gun Shop & Range, Civil Response Firearms Training LLC and Pistol Packin Mamas.

Our friends at 1 Million Moms Against Gun Control-MN (1mmagc-mn) will be with us, as will reps from Minnesota Weapons Collectors.

Of course, Twin Cities Gun Owners & Carry Forum will have a table where you can find out more about our pro-active and innovative community outreach (like this event!) and meet ups. We'll be selling a few remaining logo T-shirts, also.

Most vendors will have products and services for sale. Reminder to bring CASH for vendor products, most won't be taking checks or CC at the event.

We'll also be giving away a Taurus Millennium G2 .40 cal pistol to one lucky winner, and we'll also be giving away stacks of ammo from O.R.M. Tech. Must be present to win. All vendors will have prize drawings at their tables, as well. Terms and conditions apply to all prize drawings.

Also, the good, 2A-Friendly peeps at Uncle Franky's will be on hand again with their food truck all day.

Give Cornish hell on his anti-night vision for predator hunting position, and his support for the ban on artificial lights with rifles while predator hunting. He's decided supporting suppressors are in his best interest, but he's still opposed to allowing the hunter choose their weapon of choice.

He's also fond of calling dissenters "meat heads." Really classy Tony. Real classy...

Jack Pettengill = Dynamic Defensive Arts

From everything I've seen on his website, I would highly recommend training with him.

ALMOST as much as I'd recommend training with me! 8-)
