Is there a regular get together out this way (brainerd)

Is there a regular get together for people by baxter/brainerd? Maybe even st cloud or fargo on our side of the river?

Not that I'm aware of. Not even any regular competitiions. There was a Wednesday night pistol league at Mills for awhile, but that's over. Keep checking the Mills Shooting Center website...they'll post there if anything gets organized. Other option is the Lakeshore Conservation Club, but that's almost entirely trap and skeet. They do have a rifle/pistol range but it wasn't much last time I was there...they had plans but no execution that I've been aware of, and no "events" for rifle or pistol. I haven't been a member there in a few years and haven't been out there since Mills opened.

I'd be down for some chicken and pizza the next time I'm up there. I bet Dave Timm would too if we could do it on a day he's off duty and the wife can handle the kids. Hmac might be game? Tullibee is in the area as well, but he's a bit North from town so it might not work with his schedule.

I was intending to be up there right now, but ended up selling an AR to pay for a chainsaw deal that came up, so I'm stuck at home due to having to complete that transaction last night. I'm not sure if I'll be up between Turkey day and 1st Wed lunch down here or if I'll go up after my PT session on the 4th. I want to try to whack a bambi before Christmas, and try for some yotes too.

I've got a fairly flexible schedule, if I get at least a couple days warning! I'd be up for a get together one of these evenings. It's a bit of a drive, but not too bad - only 30 miles or so!
