Thanks again China and Benny for putting on a great match!

Not sure what Lincon's screen name is, but I hope he is feeling ok.

LinJen seemed to be all right when I spoke to him.

Reilly also had a nasty ping in the neck. I offered him a tourniquet but he appeared ungrateful for my concern.

For those of us not familiar with this sort of competition, can someone explain the scoring? Do you want a high number, or a low number?

You want a low number. The are 4 courses of fire. Each course is shot 4 times (string). The time it takes is recorded for each string. The slowest time on each course is thrown out. That leaves the shooter with 12 recorded times. Add them all up and that is the final score.

On Man-v-Man it is a tournament style climb the ladder so top person won all heats and then work down from there.

selurcspi, I've gotta ask. String 3, stage 2: is that with the bonus plate? 2.6 seconds is blazing!

The bonus plate was a fickle temptress which I couldn't seem to hit.

Ron,
4.6 isn't blazing, but if you get the plate and take away the 2 seconds, it sure does look that way.
It is a temptress, and is meant to be.

Here's a link to a spreadsheet of the scores separated by stage, purely so I could see that I was ABOVE AVERAGE in Stage 2.
