What kind or type of place are you looking for? I work in Bloomington and have eaten at most all of these places.

Doing it sometime during the week would be my preference.

Are you thinking. Kahn's Mongolian BBQ??

I'm pretty sure I'm not. I work with some Indians, and they like Indian food, not Mongolian. This place is in a strip mall south of American Blvd. It's all you can eat for $10 at lunch. I'll ask at work on Monday.

There is an indian place in the strip mall next to Festival on 98th (behind Bakers Square and the old Gander Mtn building). It used to be just south of 98th at 35w but got moved when they built the park n ride.

Build your own buffet... something for everyone.

Thanks for getting this organized!

The nice thing about buffets for these kinds of lunches is you don't have to fool around placing orders and waiting. If someone is early, they can sit down and eat. If someone is late, they sit down and eat; no waiting, nobody is inconvenienced. The downtown lunch used to be at Old Chicago for the pizza buffet until it closed.
Decrypt the points of departure and return your head slowly and you do not cancel your hair.

I'd be up for a Khan's pilgrimage almost any time!

I can't remember the name of the Indian buffet either (if ti's the one I'm thinking of - south side of American maybe, between 35 & Lyndale - in what looks like a manufacturing strip-mall type area?)

Surabhi was the place I was thinking of. Small-ish buffet, but good food.
