Well, I guess I'm riding with Strad after all.

And diskdoctr, you shoot well enough that I bet you could get by fine with 2 mags. Unless you catch the super-speed-shooting fever from one of these guys.

Hey Diskdoctor, I'm bringing a borrowed S&W 625, so I will have some (4) 1911 mags you can use for the day.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

diskdoctor: I'll throw a double mag holder into my gear bag. You're welcome to use it unless I decide to swap to the 1911 for Man V Man.

re: Truck: I'm borrowing my BIL's Honda Pilot and hauling my trailer to make sure we don't have to carry the targets by hand again. The honda has AWD in 1 or 2 so I should be able to make that hill :-) (spot the guy who has never driven off road intentionally and even more seldom gotten back on road without the aid of a tow truck ...)

If, for example, I step on and break my speed loader or etc ...

BTW: anyone going that has a spare speed loader for a Model 10 S&W (686 SSR or 65-4), it's sure help ... speed strips is only speedy by comparison to loading by fingertips.

If I remember right, my Safariland Comp IIs fit a 686. I've got six of them -- will that be enough? :)

Are the times going to be broken down into "revolver" and "other" categories, or would that be too much of a PITA?

Advice: you can always take extra home but it sucks to run out. I bring 200 for each gun I bring to shoot. I always bring an extra gun just in case ... you never know, do you :-)

I'll be there!

PS. For you autoloading losers, six rounds only in the gun to start each string. So, if you already have one in the pipe, your mag should have five.
