Thanks Pat. if I can make it, and I hope to, I'll need a mini class. I'll bring the pistol I have two holsters for and a spare I don't, but I don't expect the G19 to break.

Snivel gear-something I read about the SOF guys carrying when they were roaming around the mountains of Afghanistan looking for Al Q. In their case, it was fleeces, hats, gloves, etc. In summer's case here I'd say hat, long sleeve shirt, sunscreen, chair, sammiches, gatorade, etc. :D

I have family near Kimball, just north of the range, but wasn't sure if there's more little towns to slow you down on 12 than on Hwy 55.

Drizzle, if you decide to make it, and you should, there will be a mini class on safely drawing, and what is expected as far as range rules and etiquette. Once you go to one of these events, you will have so much fun, and learn enough to make it a priority in the future. Drawing under the timer was the hardest thing for me to get used to. Hell, even now I get a months worth of adrenaline every time I hear that "beep" :D

The first one I decided to go to I posted that I was only going to go and watch. A forum member that I had never met PM'd me with his phone number, and spent 20 minutes talking me into bringing my gear. I haven't missed one since.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

I know the next shoot is supposed to be revolver only. I don't own a revolver! Can we still shoot just for fun?
Striker fired pistols need an external safety like a Subaru needs a spoiler!
