Did anyone go to this today? I had hoped to but had promised my wife that I'd paint a guest bathroom today. Went to menards to get painting supplies and she took it upon herself to get two bathrooms ready for paint. So that consumed most of the day. Hoping to get there tomorrow though!

Heard from a vendor, there were lots of tire kickers - but not many dropping the cash. Walt Bienke of Walts Gunshop in Mankato passed away while setting up for the show on Friday evening.

I went. Saw an early Remington Model 8 in 32 Rem on a table that I wanted but had two guns in hand I was trying to sell and didn't want to drag a third one with me. I sold one and when I went back, the Remington had sold.
Was tempted to buy a Winchester Pattern 14 but I already have one in better shape. A Savage 99 in 308 was also at a reasonable price but it was made later than I am interested in.
I probably would have bought something but I am trying to downsize a bit and have a couple projects going. There is only so much money in the toy account and fall is a bad time to raid it.
