A very fun day shooting. Thanks to Benny for hosting, and thanks to all who helped set up, clean up, and run it.

P.s.- Missed you China!

Holy Crap!!! what's that anomaly in the timed standings??? (I thought I had a couple of good stages, but didn't think it was that much improved over my usual times!)

Thanks to everyone who made it a fun and safe day!

Don't worry, it was just an aberration, you'll be back to your old self next month. :D

Thanks Benny and all. It was fun, but it would be more fun if I could actually hit the taget the first time!

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement! :o ;) ;)

and Westberg - not only did Dawn make it, but it looked like she had a darn good time too. I thought I had her in the third round, but she came smoking back with a great mag change and whupped me real good! It's been fun this summer watching her get better at this while trying to learn for myself. I was impressed today with how many close races there were.

and China, thanks for letting Benny come out and play without you! :P

There has officially been a steel monster created at my house. My wife had such a good time she wants to do it again...again like right now.

In the 4th round we were having issues with my opponent's large popper, leading to an inconclusive result and forcing a reshoot between myself and Goodmedicine. The same issue occurred in the reshoot but it was adjudicated that I had hit first anyway and so was awarded the win. In reviewing the video I took it seems clear that he actually hit first in the reshoot as well. It was pretty close, and whether mine might have fallen first anyway because of the larger caliber which I was shooting is debatable, but I have no objection to switching our places in the final standings if that seems right.
