The carry permit traing class table at the event, which had lots of interested customers. The girl in the foreground was at Glenwood City, and petted Sasha for 20 minutes. She petted Sasha for another 20 minutes in Hudson..... (poor Sasha  )

Good point!! I wasn't really paying attention to that, because I was trying to get decent pictures, and I'm so used to the Gopher OCB folks who all have pretty nice guns and leather/plastic!!

WHO WAS THEIR INSTRUCTOR???? Oh, it was Wisconsin with EFFEN dooshbag Dingleberry Doyle as Governor!! Thare are no permit instructors for Wisconsin!! (Yet!!) (BTW - The Democrap Dingleberry has announced that he will not run again, so there is hope!!)

It shows how quality holsters show up you start using them every day. I have a few old "hunter" brand and others
from my youth when i carried a .22 out hunting or on the traplime. I see their decendents in these pictures. Give them the carry option for a couple of years and it will change. Also open triggers are not a big deal on a single action revolver.

I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. What my first impression was there was a lot of "cowboy" or "hunting" type holsters that looked liked they really weren't all that practical for daily carry.

Open trigger guards are considered ok for single action revolvers. But it seems a lot of people use the same holsters for double action revolvers as well.
I have been recently been in the market for field holsters for a couple revolvers both double action. I found several manufacturers
recommending holsters with open trigger guards for these double actions...so its buyer beware.

I knew somebody was still selling those Uncle Mike's holsters. Now I know where :D

Maybe... But based on this letter, I guess we really have no clue where the Sheriff stands on this matter. :?

1st point: its the chief of police, not sherriff...

2nd point: this letter was drafted in a legal sense to protect the TEA Party goers and allow them to use the facilities, so he obviously believes that the event was acceptable.

the letter is the exact same as was at the Glenwood City event in August that GC's C.of P. signed for the same reason.

we simply posted the letter as signage on the restroom doors so attendees who know/understand the law knew they were allowed to use the facilities.

Actually, this guy may have been weeping, because some of the speakers painted a pretty bleak picture for American Freedom and 2A rights unless there is a big turnaround in the 2010 elections, and 2012 following that. Someone also quoted Ronald Regan, who said "America is never more than one generation away from a complete loss of individual rights", and right now it looks like that may be down to 4 - 6 years. One more Obamanation in the White house, (even if it isn't Obama himself) and this country will pretty much be toast.

Oh, one other thought for Ole and future public speakers when there are liberal "sheeple" making "baaaaahhhhh!" noises (easy, Tootsie, easy!!) at the back of the Tea party: In EVERY state where a carry bill has passed, there has been a media and liberal feeding vrenzy about how that state will turn into the "Old Wild West", with OK Corral gunfights at every bar. (and I should note that one of the speakers addressed this with deaths per 1,000 for places like Dodge City and modern cities today, but it was too much statistics and didn't really speak to the here and now in a succinct manner. Considering you can see Minnesota from Hudson, the point to make is "remember how there were all those gunfights and shoot-outs when Minnesota passed its carry law??"

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Oh, gee, NOTHING happened when the Minnesota cary law was passed!! NOT a damn thing, and the same thing has happened over 45 times in a row!! So why is it going to happen in Wisconsin when it NEVER happened with any other state in the nation??

[Dead silence from the liberal sheeple...]

Drive that point home early in the rally, and even if the sheeple baah for the media, their credibility will be a smoking pile of rubble after that arguement.
