Very nice strad, fun to watch. I really thought it would be odd to see a camera on Pat's head, but nope looks pretty normal for Pat.

Yeah, I'm stealing that Idea. I think it would be really coolfor IPSC type run and gun events. I could buy a dedicated hat cam, but With the Pat-Cannon First-Person Cannon-Cam, the total cost is a 3 cent bolt, a 3 cent nut and an old pair of muffs. That's much easier on the pocket book.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Now technically Benny said we couldn't whine because we saw a 9mm knock down both big poppers.

My cheating ears swear they heard that big popper get hit 3 or 4 times by a .45 before it dropped.

There westberg, we still figured out something to whine about!

Great videos Strad, thanks for putting in the effort (and Pat). Helps new people see whats going on, and I'm sure helps increase the attendance to the Steel Shoots. That and it gives the rest of us a chance to learn from other people's shooting. I think thats pretty valuable.

Once again, nice run at the end SigDoc! I saw more of the closest matches in the Man vs. Man yesterday than I have in quite a while.

That would be interesting. The 3rd poppers dropped almost simaltaneously, and the 1st shot after the reload almost simaltaneous as well. I thought that was cool anyway. Would be neat to be able to distinguish what shots hit which big popper, when, in slow mo.

Nice! Now I don't have to try to to explain all of the stages to people. I can just point them to the video.

What camera are you using to take these vids? Also, is it the same one that does the slow motion?

Thanks,

Spike

Do you think the hat idea would work for a chronograph?

For all of the trigger slappers out there, You have to hit the popper above the horizontal diameter of the circle for a 9mm to knock it over....

I just made one of these. Worked out pretty well!..... Rather than spending $40 on the website though, I spent $1.19 at Good ole Park Hardware on a nylon bolt and two nylon washers. So far with limited testing, I give it a solid two thumbs up!

I hope the good people of "HatCams" don't serarch me out to find out why I'm cloning their product..... :?

Yes. Years ago the mall of generica was making custom hats for $10. I figured what the hell. A fitted hat for $10 and I can have something written on it? Did I get it made specifically for this Hat Cam nonsense? Absolutely not.
