Ruger Rimfire Series - North Central Regional - St Cloud!!

The Ruger Rimfire Shooting Competition is coming to Minnesota!!
Held at Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club in St. Cloud on July 31st, 2010
7 courses of fire - 212 rounds minimum.
All Steel targets.

Ruger is donating 4 firearms, DPMS is donating 2 uppers, Nordic Components will be Donating some 22LR uppers as well.
Other sponsors include Burris, Black Dog Machine, Federal and more!!

Entry is $50 adult/$10 juniors before July 15th......$60 adult/$10 juniors after July 15th

All you need is a 22lr rifle and 22lr pistol.....recomended that you have atleast 2 mags for each (4 is better)...no holsters.

Geared towards juniors, however anyone can shoot for prizes!!....stages are similar to Steel Challenge type courses.

Also.....and worth mentioning....just because this is sponsored by Ruger.....it is not like the Glock Matches....you do NOT have to use Ruger Firearms for this match. Any RIfle and Pistol in 22RF is good to go!!

Well.....just like the mini 3 guns at Del-Tone/Luth presently becoming mini 2 guns; I can not promise that the Ruger Rimfire Regional being held up at the club is going to be any different. I've not been able to talk with Randy about whats been going on, but I have read the letter. Kind of a bummer to say the least!! I know that Randy is going to working hard on resolving this issue.

This match will still be held....and will still have a great prize table. We will still have 7 COF's and 212 rounds minimum. At this point, I don't know if the legal wrangling will be over about the 1995 CUP and pistol use at the Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club. Plan on bringing your rifle and pistol.....you may just end up leaving the pistol in your car. But if this is all over.....plan on using both.

This sounds fun but I may be out of town on Vacation. I have a ruger 10/22 and a single six that I wish I could shoot more.

So do I assume that if I show up with a rifle that has a dot on it and a pistol or revolver with irons that I would be shooting in open division?

Do we get to know what the size of the bonus target is at 100 yards?

Yep.....dots put you in open.

Figure on a "C" size USPSA target.......and you'll be at 100yds min.....probably more. Depends on how far we can get it out there and still have the "flash" still to activate.

The match is on for this coming Saturday!!

We will have (2) AR15's in .223 on the prize table, a Ruger 10/22, a Ruger SR-22....Thats 4 guns for sure.

Nordic Components will be contributing in a BIG way to the prize table as well.....expect to see at least one NC 22 complete rifle and an NC upper as well as AR22 stock kits and accessories.

We have Houge Stocks, Power Custom parts, Whistle Pig Barrels, Black Dog Magazines, Burris Optics, and just a whole mess of stuff that I am forgeting to mention. I suspect that anyone that comes to this match is going to go home with somethign worth more than the entry fee they paid.

One more thing....we did change the name of the match to The Minnesota Ruger Rimfire Rifle State Championship

LOts of fun to be had!!......we'll be shooting from 7 yds to 100 yds

Think of it as a steel challenge match.....with rifle!!!

Or should I leave my handgun at home?
