Hehe. I wish. If you google 'keith ulfers' you get stuff about pistol. If you google my name you get stuff about computers. :)

Newbie here again...

Explain the score and Man v. Man

There's going to be another one in about a month...you should be there! The score is time in seconds. Four courses of fire of four strings each. The worst string in each course of fire is thrown out. In the man v. man, each person shoots four times total against another participant on two identical courses of fire. First one to finish wins. It's a bracket type deal. Hope that makes sense.

I was so happy to see so many in Hutch on Sat..

A big HUGE thanks To Selurcspi and CHINA - a lot of folks have come a long long way in skill and gun handling - good safe fun and a well run event.

For those out there that are sitting on the fance about coming out to the next one - GET THERE - when else are you going to have a chance to do this again?

Yes, do come if you get the chance. I think there are some that feel that they may not be very good or embarrass themselves. Well one of the best ways to get better is to do these types of shoots, you get some good shooting tips, fun practice and you get to meet some of the forum members. As far as embarrassing yourself, well you will have to get in line, I usually have the corner market in that area.

I knew most there this time and I guess I was the one who persuaded rucker to turn up. I think if rucker chimes in, he had a good time and got some more things added to his list. (sorry, I just had to throw in that list thing). ;)

Hope to see some new faces there next time, and again thanks to Benny, China, Jeff and his truck and all that lended some strong backs.

Yes it was my first steel shoot and I had a great time. I was worried about not being a very good shot but all the people are great and there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Everyone should try it!

Here is the thing that I have noticed with myself -

I only shoot to the ability of those around me. If you want to be a master at something - you have to apprectice somewhere and see how well practiced folks do things... it is how it is.

No shame in anything - help that is asked for will be well received and granted with a smile - there is absolutely no heckiling of any sort - just support in ways you cannot imagine.

There is a hint of competitiveness or otherwise we would not be there competing - but it is all in good fun - there is no $$$ on the line so it is all good fun -

The best part is seeing where people started from and see where they are now - astounding progress - even throught he day yesterday - there were people there that were shooting SO much better than in the morning. It is a good thing to see.

Just remember

"Don't miss - this is gonna happen really fast.... " "What is gonna happen really fast?" "I don't exactly know - something is going to happen...." SMILE :D

Hi Gang, I finally got logged on, it looks like my saved link was to the old domain name.
Thanks for the kudos, but we enjoy organizing the shoots as much as you enjoy shooting at them.
It was good to see all of you yesteday and like Pinnacle said it's good to see everyone improve their shooting.

No, you will not be out of town, but you have other commitments,,,RIGHT!!

Guests are maybe welcome here, but not in my home when they think I am gone.

I am not paranoid, just trying to defuse information for the dirt bags.
