Nov. 19 - National Ammo Day BUYcott

Postby Ironbear on Thu Nov 15, 2007 12:30 pm

National Ammo Day is coming! Knock the cobwebs off those firearms, shoot up some of that vintage ammo, and go get some new ammo! You know you are not shooting enough! :D :D

Does buying ammo components count? I quit buying factory ammo for all but one gun.

I would say ammo is ammo, whether it comes in a single piece or multiple.

With both Bill's locations opening up to steel cased ammo, what do you want to bet that a whole lot of Russian stuff gets purchased on NAD? :?

I guess its possible, just not reasonable.

I suppose if I count rimfire I have a couple more... oh yeah, i have a sks laying around somewhere, that makes 2 guns that I don't reload for.

Is this tracked somehow or do we need to input the results?

I just did my part. 200 WWB 9 mm and 550 Rem 22 LR. These added up to meet the minimum at Cabela's to use their $15 discount card so the price with the discount was less than elsewhere.

When I added these to my ammo locker, I decided I need to start shooting a lot more.
