So, let's plan for another picnic organized specifically to include our families.
When: Saturday Sept 25, 2010 4pm until people leave
Where: casa de Plblark (Roseville near Rosedale. PM Plblark for address and to RSVP)
What to bring: meat and beverages for your family and an item to share. (Basically, this is a Bring Your Own Picnic with a pot luck side thrown in
)I'm providing rudimentary S'Mores supplies
If there's outdoor fun gear you want to bring, that's cool and we could probably make it work
( frisbee, ball, gloves, etc) Who: you and your SO and or kids. IF you can't convince them to come, you're still welcome. But tell them there will be other long suffering SO's there to commiserate with and drag them along
As this is a family event and different people have chosen ways to expose their kids to carry, treat it as a discreet carry event like the North Side Breakfasts. No one is going to freak either way but it's not the OCB either. This is not a show and tell event. We can use the garage if you need a controlled place and safe direction to show clear and safely compare your gear
