I think I can safely say that I have never shot so appallingly with a fully functioning gun. Damn, couldn't it have fallen apart or something to give me a reasonable excuse???????

I'll say!

Targets were a good distance away, and small. 3rd event was strong hand only, and 4th was weak hand only.

Hadn't realized it until yesterday, but the gun I've been using is just too darn big for me. Freestyle isn't so tough, but with one hand I just don't have a good enough grip on it. No control.

Blecccch

Course of fire was like this
Stage 1: 4 diangonally receeding rectilinear plates with 1 popper stop plate per string
Stage 2: 5 rounds with optional additional bonus plate waaayyy in back corner for a 2 second deduction
Stage 3: Inverted V strong hand only
Stage 4: round flying M weak hand only

It was a challenging but fun course of fire, I enjoyed myself thoroughly and was able to see that the physical therapy and couple of training classes I took over the year were beneficial when I applied the skills I learned. now if I can just get that fecking weak hand working better, that was an expensive tyro. Hey its better than last year, I couldnt even pull the trigger on the gun weakhanded last year. Congrats everyone and good to see those of you that I havent met in a long while again. It was a great day all round, nice weather good company and stuff that needed shooting

Hey, I brought a gun. I just forgot my 'gamer' gun, the one with the high-cap 6-round cylinder and the extra-long 3" barrel. The whole reason for having a carry permit is so you have a gun on you for an unexpected emergency, right? My 5-shot 2 1/4" SP101 was there when I needed it.

Oh, and I see it was good enough to beat... a certain other competitor. :)

Seriously, thank you China and Benny for your dedication to the steel shoot and putting it on every month.
