VETERANS DAY CALENDAR

MINNESOTA STATE VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION, Veterans Memorial Community Center, 8055 Barbara Av., Inver Grove Heights. This official state celebration begins with a community breakfast from 8-9:45 a.m. Thu. Program begins at 10 a.m. Open to the public. Make the time to thank a Veteran..................A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, National Guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check, made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."........and many of those checks were cashed by and for this Country........................ :salute:
