Google seems to place you in the wrong place when using the actual address.

Google is weird like that. I put in the address, hit search, hit directions and it takes me somewhere odd. I go to Lake Byron which is right AT the place I KNOW it should be, put in the address, hit search, and bang! And I don't know why. I'll just save those GPS coords. Thanks!

Also, make sure your GPS is in decimal mode and not minutes / seconds mode. I tried to go to the Ren Fest once and ended up in Norwood Young America by doing that.

Ever so slightly off topic but GPS devices may take you to the mailing address of a place.

Valleyfair's mailing address is the service entrance, and TomTom etc will take you there instead of the guest parking lot.
